Nautical Chart Albums

Advantages of Albums:

  • they are developed based on the modern nautical charts and contain the number of charts (of the appropriate quality) which is ideal for marine practice and navigational safety support;
  • ease of use and keeping on small vessels, yachts and launches due to the format, user-friendliness, level etc.;
  • nautical charts are Ukrainian and English;
  • contain additional reference information of navigational, businesslike and touristic nature;
  • possibility of production on individual order.

Album of Nautical Charts "Odesa to Bosporus Strait. Navigational and Hydrographic Overview", 2017

The album is intended for yachtsmen and issued in the world reference system WGS-84 in the user-friendly format. The album contains pilot descriptions for the full route required for sailing along the coasts, Rules of Navigation for Small, Sports and Leisure Vessels for different scale charts.

Route charts are used for general study of the navigation area and route identification in the open sea; partial charts and plans are intended for sailing along coast and for anchorage areas, roadsteads, bays, harbors, ports approach from seaward as well as movement within their limits. Convenient anchorages and harbors for yachts as well as yacht clubs location are shown on the charts, and the text gives the necessary information about them. Illustrative photos of navigation marks, conspicuous objects and views add their visual presentation.

In order to familiarize a wide range of consumers with the products of the State Hydrographic Service of Ukraine as well as provide visual information on the overall geographic arrangement of cartographical load of charts, the site shows images of the official navigational charts.

All the cartographical images are scoping ones not suitable for use for navigational purposes. The SHSU does not bear responsibility if they are used for unintended purposes.
